Using the 7x24 hour scheduler, build schedules for live and pre-recorded content for the whole network or for specific receivers, each with their own schedule.
This feature allows regionalized and localized ad campaigns. Specific advertising spots can be sent to regions or specific receivers. Audio files stored in the
receiver can be inserted into live or recorded programs.
Content can be sent to all receivers in one broadcast. Some receivers can play the content live, while other store and playback the content later.
This enables the network/station to time shift content to the proper air-time. Entire programs can be distributed days ahead of actual air time.
Concurrently manage and schedule content to be delivered to receivers via the internet or satellite. Receiver can run in dual-mode or dedicated IP or satellite mode.
X-Digital's NMS enables network managers to create Affiliate/Receiver web pages, and control how much functionality
is revealed. If authorized, Affiliates can use the web site to manage their relay mappings, select and schedule
programs. Users are alerted of schedule conflicts and visually displays their schedule.
The NMS monitors the receivers and headend hardware for extensive system diagnostics. Through the internet
backchannel from the receiver, it reports the signal it is locked onto, its signal and other operating levels.
All data in stored in an SQL server database and is analyzed by the NMS so the system can predict many receiver
problems before they occur. Embedded in each receiver is an IP server with a direct connection to the internet
as either a static/fixed or dynamic IP connection. Even a dial up connection can be used if no broadband
connection is available.
