Store & Forward Client - XFTP Courier
Networks use this product to deliver media to customers who may not have an XDS receiver. The Store & Forward
Client is a PC-based web application that affiliates download and install on an Windows XP or Vista PC.
The Store & Forward Client has a web user interface and can be configured to receive media from multiple
networks that use the XDS X-Courier System. The XFTP - Courier PC Client is fully managed by the XDS-NMS
(Network Management System) and it reports delivery confirmation and health status to the NMS.
- Automatically manages the downloading of affiliate content
- User Interface is through your web browser.
- The NMS uses the XFTP Courier process to send files to the affiliates. This PC Client runs on the client's PC
polls.
- Each Store & Forward Client is assigned a unique Serial Number (just as each XDS-PRO receiver has a unique
serial number) so ads and programming can be targeted to each station whether they have a Store & Forward
Client or a XDS-PRO receiver.
- Content Interface lists all media content files obtained
- Preview media files
- Sort content by: ISCI Code, Title, Network, Download date and End Date
- Configure polling interval and the content directory.
- Content can be saved to a network drive so the media content files can be accessed by automation systems.
- Obtain content from multiple networks.
- Force download - to override polling interval for immediate delivery.
- Download logs - for troubleshooting.
